Polyester-cotton yarn refers to the blended yarn of polyester and cotton.

Development of polyester cotton

At present, blended fabrics have been developed from 65% polyester to 35% cotton to 65:35, 55:45, 50:50, 20:80 and other blended fabrics with different proportions, in order to meet the needs of consumers at different levels.

Classification of polyester and cotton: Customers who often buy Shirts know that many shirts are marked with polyester or cotton and polyester. "Polyester-cotton" and "cotton-polyester", the order of the two words changed into two different fabrics. "Polyester-cotton" fabrics refer to polyester fibers which account for more than 50% and cotton which is less than 50%. On the contrary, "cotton-polyester" refers to cotton which is more than 50% and polyester which is less than 50%, also known as CVC varieties.

Problems and Solutions in the Textile Process of Polyester Cotton Yarn

Question 1: in the high temperature and humidity season, when the relative humidity of workshop is about 65 degrees, four Rola roving machine produces 9.72 tex combing varieties. Especially medium and large yarns, especially difficult to open. Sometimes there is yarn defect, there is no situation that can not be stretched, it falls off in the pressing palm.

Answer: The spinning tension should be adjusted properly when the roving is wet. Because the friction resistance between the hollow arm of the spindle wing and the pressing palm increases when the humidity is high, that is, the winding tension increases. At this time, the tension of the spinning section becomes loose, the yarn yarn yarn jitter is severe, and the broken ends will increase. Try to reduce the number of coils, but adjust the spinning tension.

Question 2: polyester cotton 65/35 varieties, the production process appears about 2 cm thick section, what is the reason?

Answer 1: There are several possible reasons.

1) The serious winding of cots in front of spinning frame affects the adjacent yarn pressure loss of COTS at the same stage, resulting in uneven yarn evenness.

2) The ageing, unclean or greasy apron on the spinning frame causes winding flowers, and in the drafting process, intermittent strips are introduced, resulting in uneven evenness.

3) Failure of pin spring on spinning frame and poor control of apron clamp.

4) The spinning frame pin is pulled out, the spacer block is missing or misused.

5) Cotton collector of roving frame is cracked and inlaid with impurities.

Answer 2: Now the weather is hot, spinning mills are most likely to have high yarn defects in this period of time.

1) Controlling temperature and humidity well, the temperature and humidity of polyester and cotton varieties are smaller than that of pure cotton varieties, and the temperature should not be too high.

2) Major efforts should be made to do a good job in cleaning the spinning passages of each process, and administrators should be on duty to inspect the spinning passages, which reflects the basic management level of a company. For example, the size of carding bottom leakage needs to be checked regularly; talcum powder is used for polishing treatment; sliver of drawing machine needs to be carefully cleaned when it passes by; besides roller, roving regularly cleans wax with special tools for spindle wing passage; roving palm pressing inspection, while spinning mainly cleans passage.

3) Check the sugar content of raw materials and make appropriate allocation.
