1. Main tasks of opening and cleaning process:

(1) Through the tearing and striking function of the corner nail and the beater in each single machine of the opening and cleaning combined machine, the compressed block fiber in the cotton bag is loose and broken into small cotton bundles, creating conditions for impurity removal and mixing, and minimizing impurity fragmentation and fiber damage during the opening and loosening process.

(2) In addition to impurities, 50% - 60% impurities in raw cotton, especially big impurities such as cottonseed, seed cotton, sterile seed and sand, shall be removed at the same time of loosening; chemical fiber mainly removes impurities such as parallel silk and hard block. In the process of impurity removal, the drop of spinnable fiber should be reduced and cotton should be saved.

(3) Mix all kinds of raw materials according to the proportion of cotton, the better the opening of raw cotton (chemical fiber), the more even the mixing.

(4) The uniform roll is made into a certain weight, a certain length and uniform cotton roll for the next process. When the blowing carding unit is used, the output cotton flows to the storage box of each carding machine in the carding process and finally feeds the carding machine with Yan cotton.

2. Main tasks of carding process:

(1) Carding in the premise of less damage to the fiber as far as possible, the feeding layer is carefully and thoroughly carding to separate the bundle fiber into a single fiber state.

(2) On the basis of full separation of fibers, impurities and defects are completely removed.

(3) The uniform mixing makes the fibers fully mixed and evenly distributed in the single fiber state.

(4) The sliver is made into uniform sliver with certain specifications and quality requirements and placed in the sliver barrel regularly.

 Key points of quality control in the process of cleaning and carding

1. Key points of quality control in opening and cleaning process:

The technological principles of opening and cleaning process: multi bag grasping, fine cotton grasping, sufficient mixing, gradual opening, early falling and less breaking, proper carding and less fiber damage

(1) As far as possible, the cotton grabber should "grab more bags, catch more frequently and grab less", so as to achieve fine cotton grabbing.

(2) The raw materials should be mixed evenly, and the more uniform the mixture is, the more conducive to solving the problems of color difference and color block, as well as improving the evenness of yarn evenness and reducing the variation coefficient of single yarn breaking strength.

(3) Qinghua shall arrange the packages according to the package arrangement drawing. The high package shall be cut with high caulking, and the low package shall be fluffy and even, so as to ensure the uniformity of cotton blending, prevent color difference, and strengthen the patrol picking of large impurities on the cotton viewing platform.

(4) To improve the operation efficiency of each single machine and keep the continuous and stable supply and production of each single machine and cotton conveying pipeline is the premise guarantee to effectively reduce the weight unevenness of cotton roll and the weight unevenness of card sliver.

(5) There shall be no hanging flowers or clogging under the dust stick of each single beater, and the vehicle blocking personnel shall check and clean it regularly.

(6) After the raw materials are loosened by each single machine, the linter and NEP will increase continuously, so the growth rate of linter and NEP must be reduced by optimizing the speed and spacing adjustment of the beater.

(7) The pipeline for conveying cotton flow shall minimize excessive turning, keep smooth and reduce the overturning friction of raw materials in the pipeline.

Clearing and carding are the key processes of opening and carding in spinning factories. It is very important to do well in opening and carding of raw materials to improve the quality of sliver, reduce the NEP of finished yarn and reduce yarn defects.
